Hermine de Roo

I was born on March 23, 1955, in Belgium

At the age of two I saw a wonderfully beautiful world.

I looked at this world from an exterior viewpoint.

My little body was under the table and yet I saw the square and the

city from a height. I wanted to tell every one how beautiful it all was,

but did not know the words yet. Therefore I tried to draw the view,

but I realized that it did not really reflect what I saw.

There, under that table, I knew what I was going to do in live: I would

learn to paint to express how beautiful the world is !
